I emailed Leah the Plumber early one morning because the water in my kitchen sink had been draining very slowly. They replied within a short period of time and were able to send someone out within a few hours. They told me in advance of the $89 call out fee, and only confirmed the appointment after I let them know I still wanted to book it. They texted and emailed to let me know when the tech was on the way. Viraj was the tech that worked on the issue. After I told him the issue, he explained to me the three price points, depending on the amount of work involved. He wore plastic slippers and also put down mats so he wouldnt track up my floor. He was able to solve the problem within a short period of time and spent a considerable time afterwards testing that it worked and that there were no leaks. I had a lot of questions about what could have caused the problem and how to prevent it from happening again. Viraj very patiently and thoroughly answered my questions and gave me advice. I had been having some issues with a toilet as well and he replaced the mechanism in the same visit, charging me only the cost of the materials, not for labour. The total cost for just over 1 hour of work was about $280. I do not know if this is a reasonable price because I havent needed to hire a plumber for some time and do not know the current rates. I would highly recommend Leah the Plumber. Between the person who booked the appointment and the tech that did the work, the service was excellent. I am happy to write a great review for Marty the plumber from Leah the Plumber company. Marty is an outstanding plumber who truly went above and beyond in his service to us. From the moment we contacted Leah the Plumber company, we knew we were in good hands. Marty was prompt, courteous, and professional in all of his interactions with us. When he arrived at our home, he quickly assessed the problem and took the time to explain what was happening and what needed to be done to fix it. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and it was clear that he had years of experience under his belt. Not only did Marty fix the problem with our plumbing, but he also took the time to make sure that everything was running smoothly and that we understood how to prevent future issues. He even provided us with some valuable tips for maintaining our plumbing system. Throughout the entire process, Marty was friendly and approachable, making us feel comfortable and confident in his abilities. He was respectful of our home, taking care to clean up after himself and leaving everything in pristine condition. Overall, we cannot recommend Marty and Leah the Plumber company enough.
