Although the work done on my house was done quite a while ago, I would like to comment on my experience with the team at Metric Design. If I could give them more than a 10/10 I would! I had a major renovation to undertake and had to move out of my house while it was done. The project was completed in about 2 and a half months, way quicker than I anticipated. The trades people they provided were reliable and came when expected. The process seemed quite effortless. Everyone at Metric was so professional and approachable. Although I had one assigned designer, Lisa, the entire staff at Metric were always available if I had questions and all seemed to be knowledgeable about my project. This was very helpful when Lisa was not available. They obviously operate as a team. Impressive. Their products are fantastic and I always felt I had access to the latest styles. Availability of products was excellent and arrived in a timely manner. I live 2 hours from Saskatoon and that posed no problem at all. My ideas were always taken into consideration, and helpful suggestions given. Metric helped me understand my style and how my existing furniture and decorative items could fit with new. I definitely wanted a more traditional style and that is what we achieved. It was such a pleasant and positive experience from beginning to end, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We purchased their "design on the fly" which is 2 hour house talk for 415. Karen was nice to talk to and we got some helpful ideas. However, we are not sure if we would go with them in future. Few notes are, 1. We had fairly strong impression that they were all about money. From the very first inquiry, they were all about jumping into telling us prices of different packages we could purchase from them that were non-refundable rather than paying more attention to listening to our needs. This was followed by a staff contacting us to ask if we paid the money already a day later or so so they will book the time. Then the designer again offers they will give us estimate of something bigger with them. This is fine, because after all, they do the business for money. I get that. However, it was little too much. 2. We never fell they were geuine to help us with anything they can do. Our $415 didn't go far at all kind of impression. They seem take the job so lightly because maybe it was their least pricy package or something? We didn't really get any "real expert ideas" other than generic ones that we had in mind already. Again with the impression, "if you purchase a real deal from us, we will really help you" 3. Does ayone think $415 is expensive to talk to someone for 2 hours? Then she sent us literally one page report/review of what we talked about with photos. One page. I know they are different jobs but we pay similar amount to the home inspector. They would spend over 2 hours of inspection then talk with the client and come up with at leat over at 20 or 30 pages of comprehensive report. Too bad because, they won't need to try so hard to sell their service if they were more service oriented to actually hlep us through the service I had from them already. Also, if we are not satisfied with their $400 service, we won't likely buy their much more expensive service. We don't recommend. Services: Closet design, Bathroom design

We really love working with Michael Anderson and Brandon at the design stage. They really take into account our expectation in detail. We left for vacation when Mike started the project and when we came home I feel like walking into a five star spa bathrooms, we were so happy!. Both bathrooms are so beautiful and elegant. We booked a Design On the Fly meeting with Amy. What a great decision! She helped us see things with our renovation ideas that we hadn't thought of. She completely changed our minds on certain aspects and confirmed/ reassured us that we were on the track with other things. We had a solid two hour meeting full of ideas for everything from layout to finishing decor and how to place our furniture to work with the space. It was a great value to us, well worth the cost.
