My in-laws had been searching for someone who does great work as well as someone who has reasonable prices and thats why they decided to go with Mahussier construction. Kolton was professional and gave necessary advice and input when it was needed. They are not easy to please and were impressed with his work. Thanks again for making them so happy.

I hired Kolten to build a fence for myself and my neighbors. He requested full cash up front, which we reluctantly agreed to, but because of good references we took that risk. That was lesson #1. The lumber (valued around $3000) was delivered early, and left on my driveway over a weekend when Kolten knew I was not home. Thankfully nothing was stolen. When he did show up to work, it was for only for a few hours at a time. The project took just over a month to complete and should have taken no more than a week. Kolten made commitments he did not keep. He did not show up when he said he would and made errors in the construction of the fence (he forgot arrangements we had made to put a gate on one side, and instead put a fixed panel). My yard was littered with garbage, pieces of wood, a wheelbarrow, and had screws scattered around the yard and deck for weeks. Kolten also enlisted the help of another person to put up pickets, and the workmanship was less than acceptable. After 3 weeks of broken commitments, and looking at an unfinished fence, I asked for the labor to be refunded so I could hire someone to finish the project, he did not acknowledge my text, and had no further communications on the matter. He did eventually show up and the project was completed. The lack of communication with his customers and inability to keep commitments was unacceptable. Trust me, this business is not worth the hassle and inconvenience.
