I hired Rob to do a complete renovation of a townhouse. He told us the job would be complete by the end of August. It wasn't finished by November 1st when I asked him to leave. The painting was the worst job I have ever seen. We had him replace all doors, and closet doors. The painter painted all the hinges & handles, and left globs of paint and streaks of paintbrush marks all over the new doors, and installed them upside down! They look terrible. They were also the wrong doors! The flooring has gaps in places, and had paint left all over it. The plumber he hired must've been a friend who had some plumbing tools. Both showers had to be taken apart and reinstalled as they were BOTH backwards. They painted alongside the carpeted stairs, and painted the rug into the wall. There was no prep work done on any of the walls before painting them. The grout in the showers was done over dirt and drywall dust. There is so much to mention. He doesn't supervise any of the trades. There is little to no attention to detail. If you don't want to have to redo most of what he does yourself....don't hire him.
