I came to Giti at a time when I had hit rock bottom. For months I had been plagued by a series of dreams that seemed to play in an endless cycle, tormenting me day and night. Eventually, I couldn't distinguish reality from fantasy, and developed behaviors such as talking to myself, zoning out for long periods of time, and a complete lack of focus. Coupled with this were inexplicable, bone-deep sadness, unhappiness, sorrowfulness. She was able to link the dreams to the despondency and explain that I was having a very powerful empathic event which meant that everything related to someone else's distress, and she was able to have me identify this person, someone from a long time ago. I did some research online and learned that someone I once cared very deeply about had indeed suffered a series of tragedies in the same time frame. I was unable to help this person, unfortunately, but being able to understand what I was experiencing and why, has allowed me to claw my way back into some semblance of normalcy, and given me hope that I won't go under!!

I had my first appointment with her, A) I find her very expensive $350 for an hour . B) She gave me this form to fill which had multiple grammatical mistakes. I asked her to explain me one of the question and she couldnt explain what is she exactlylooking for or get out of it and then agreed that instead of asking "who" she should have wrote "what" . And asking about my religion and whether I follow it or not and why. That question was a little strange for me and there was not even a choice whether I prefer to answer it or not. Overall not a good experience, I had to collect a lot of courage to go for counselling. I am even more sad and upset now.
