We hired Steven to fix our basement suite. The old foundation was cracked and needed a massive repair. K&S had to tear most of the the existing suite in order to build new foundation walls inside the existing walls. They then rebuilt the suite, with new floors, new drywall, etc. The kitchen was put back together better than it was, and the whole place looks fantastic. All of our communication, other than one meeting and onsite inspection, was done long distance. We are in BC, but the house is in Saskatoon. Steven's patience and willingness to answer questions throughout the whole time was very much appreciated, and helped make a difficult time for us a little bit better. We learned to trust Steven's judgement, and his pricing was always fair and accurate. We were never hit with additional costs, and he even did things that saved us money. Our new property manager says that the work is fantastic, and we can trust that the basement at Avenue G was done by real professionals. We highly recommend K & S Contracting. I hired Steve to put a new foundation and crawl space under an existing house extension that was not originally done properly. Once begun, the work went quickly. It required the services of a very talented excavation specialist. Her skill with the machinery was well beyond what I expected. The crew doing the concrete and wall construction were very patient and friendly. I had a lot of questions and they answered what they could and had Steve explain the things they couldnt. K & S provided their experience and expertise regarding a crack in a cement exterior wall above grade. Very thorough and knowledgeable! Did not upsell the work at all and did a fantastic repair. Very responsive to questions with timely responses. Dependable and reliable showing up when they said they would. Even though based out of Saskatoon, they had no issue travelling to Nipawin for the job. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their work to others. Moved my Modular home and did some structural modifications so it was not a normal build. The crew was proficient, sensitive to my needs and very conscientious about the details. The project was completed within my timeframe in spite of some supply details. Service: General construction
