I went to Sam for my wedding hair and makeup trial, I showed her a few inspiration pictures and did exactly what I wanted! When it came to my wedding day, Sam came to the venue looking professional, on time and ready to go- she made me look beautiful and I was beyond happy. Ive been back to Sam many times now for haircuts, highlights, styles and does a great job every time. I would highly recommend Sam for any service you need, she goes above and beyond and you will leave extremely happy every time! I had a great experience with Sam for my wedding makeup! It was a week before my wedding and I had not found a makeup artist yet - I live outside of the city and thought I wouldn't have time to book anyone last minute. Then, a good friend pointed me in Sam's direction. I reached out to her and she fit me in to her very busy schedule for a trial two days before the wedding! As someone who hadn't gotten her makeup done professionally before, Sam made me so comfortable during the trial and while getting ready the morning of the wedding (she even came over to the house where we were getting ready). She listened to my feedback/ideas and I ended up having the glam look of my dreams. My wedding day would not have been the same without Sam. Highly recommend her services! Service: Makeup services

Would NOT recommend this place for wedding hair and makeup. Not only was it poorly done, but the stylest Sam was late and extremely non accomodateing. Sam left us waiting 45 minutes. Once makeup was done I found the type of foundation quite cakey on my skin and wanted to talk about options for using my own that I know works on my sensitive skin. Basically I got ghosted after a 230$ trial and there was not even a conversation about accommodating my needs. The hair didn't hold and niether did the makeup. If you want any input at all don't use Sam I would say or probably not this place . I thought a trial was to figure out how to meet the needs of the bride but I guess it's one way or no way for them

I have been following Sam for years, wonderful hairstylist and brilliant makeup artist. We had a great initial consult, she was so accommodating and helpful willing to try my suggestions. I was so impressed in fact that I took her to my destination wedding to do my hair and makeup. Totally worth it Salon Hue is such a beautiful and cozy place! A total hidden gem in Saskatoon.
