A bunch of @55holes.
This scrawny man who looked like he was on meth, gave me a ticket because I paid for parking @ the City meter directly in front of my car (@ the movies), instead of the Impark meter which was 30 ft away and hidden by other cars.
I said "I'm not from Saskatoon, can't you see I made an attempt to pay?" and he just smiled and laughed at me while walking away and fiddling with his smoke and ticket machine. It was the definition of ship eating grin.
I get the ticket, and call the number to tell them what happened. The woman on the phone tells me she understands, and she will void my ticket altogether. I am elated.
6 months later, I get a letter saying they are going to take my ticket to collections, so I call them and tell them the info I wrote down when I talked to that lady. Apparently, they have no record of that conversation and I indeed owe them $120+.
So I had gotten a new car and new plates, and already have 3 credit cards, so told them I had no record of that ticket, and they are never going to see that money from me.
Frick you Impark. Ps. Your employee was lucky 2 cops were walking down the street that evening.
