WillowGrove Pharmacy

**I wish I could leave NO stars but sadly that is not an option.** I am very disappointed and saddened with this place. I was referred here by my pharmacy (since I was told that they do compound mixtures as my usual place does not.) After finishing my last radiation treatment, I went straight to the pharmacy with my prescription from the oncologist at the cancer clinic in hopes to find some relief from the tremendous pain I was in. Being in the healthcare field for almost two decades, I am aware of this mixture and its benefits, so I was looking forward to the relief that this solution would give me to be able to have the chance to swallow liquids and eat without a great deal of pain. The lady who eventually came to greet me at the counter, merely looked at the prescription, and after I had said it is a compound mixture and my current pharmacy does not do them, she replied we dont do compounds on a Friday because its the weekend and you will have to wait till Monday. She then mentioned I could drive to the south or west side of the city and try to see if another pharmacy could help. It was around 4:00 pm and this pharmacy was open until 8:00 pm and was not visibly busy. There were no other customers in the building while I was there. Being extremely fatigued and really just wanting to go home, I had left crying and defeated thinking I had to try to drive in rush hour traffic across the city to see if someone else could help me (and hopefully make it before they close.) My original pharmacy did suggest another place - the Medicine Shoppe in Evergreen, so I figured I would give them a call. I knew they closed within the hour, my hopes were low. To my surprise, the wonderful ladies at the Medicine Shoppe said they could and would make up my prescription and would even stay late if needed as they were tending to other clients. The staff at the Medicine Shoppe went above and beyond to help and provided me with my prescription, advice, and information that has helped dull the pain and allowed me to be able to eat again. After my experience, I will never go back to the WillowGrove Pharmacy and I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone because of the unpleasant customer service. A little compassion and empathy goes a long way when a person is at the low point going through these treatments.

This is the best place to go if you need braces or support for your injury or joint issues. Danielle ( Dani ) was super nice and very knowledgeable about the braces and other things you need to know with regards to your injury or joint illness. All of them were really friendly specially Dani. I had a great experience here and thank you very much Dani for your help I really appreciate your assistance! You are awesome!. Great job to all the staff and management of Willow Grove Pharmacy and Medical supply!
