The Plumb Shoppe

I called numerous plumbing supply shops desperately trying to find one that would attempt to repair my kitchen faucet spray head. The Plumb Shop was the only one who offered to look at it (the others would be happy to sell me a new one for $150+!). I took the spray head into the store in the morning, and got a call that it was repaired the same afternoon! And the cherry on top was that they charged me NOTHING for the repair. Saved me mucho $$$$! I will be back for any of my future plumbing needs, and would highly recommend them. Best customer service Ive received from any Saskatoon business in many years!

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The front desk girl is very helpful and understanding. They have signs stating return policy as well as they offer discounts on items if damaged. I highly recommend buying from them. Supporting locally owned businesses daily. Keep up the great work.

Items are overpriced! A major negative point is, their return policy. I have been refused to get refund for an items that has small scratches during installation. Plumb Shoppe, if you stay in this business you have to take return as well, its part of the business.

A Big Nooooooooooo! Anybody is thinking to buy somethingfrom plumb shoppe, Think 5 times before going there. its one time purchase, you can not give it back if anything goes wrong, they dont take anything back. No return or exchange, Old guy is a mysterious person, dont trust his words. And lady at front desk has no knowledge about anything. order from Warehouse or Amazon is the best idea.

I was going through the reviews for this place before writing one myself, and I could not help but notice the sheer rudeness and inaccuracy of some of the recent 1-star reviews. Return policies may not always seem fair at face value and sure they can be inconvenient, but that is not a fault of The Plumb Shoppe - that's just the nature of the retail industry. It is a material loss to the business (especially a local business like this one) if they cannot re-sell an item that has been returned by another customer. I cannot speak to how scratches might affect the function of the part, but it is objectively less likely the item will be resold if it has visible imperfections - you would not want to buy a shirt if you see a stain or dirt on it, and this is no different. I think it's fair to be frustrated by the situation, I understand why you'd be upset, but taking that frustration out on these workers is not a proportionate response. It comes across as entitled when you blame the retailer for not taking back a product that was in a different condition from when you bought it. I have had only lovely experiences with The Plumb Shoppe and I think the bulk of these reviewers agree, but negative comments stand out more than positive ones, so to provide a deceptive negative review like that is not cool. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful (definitely not "mysterious" or untrustworthy) and they sell quality products. Knowing from personal experience how kind the staff and owners are, it is unnecessary and hurtful to talk about them that way, especially in a situation in which the people really weren't to blame.
