I had brunch here with a couple of my friends a little while ago and was pretty disappointed in the whole experience. We got sat next to a DJ which was really weird, the music fit the vibe of the place but it was too loud and the guy was mostly just playing tracks so personally I think it was pretty unnecessary. I got an Egg's Benedict with sun-dried tomato pesto, hollandaise and hash-brown potatoes, which sounded amazing. The server had forgotten my order so she had to come back and retake it, and then when she brought our meals she had forgotten the cutlery (which we had to ask for). I was very disappointed in my meal, the hash-browns had no seasoning and were garnished with a pea stem, I'm actually sensitive to peas but I didn't eat it. The poached egg was perfectly done but the bun it was on was partially frozen/really cold. I'm a fairly slow eater so by the time I was halfway done my meal the bun was thawed and soggy from the remaining ice crystals and the heat from the hollandaise sauce over it which was really bad. My friend tried some of my potatoes and was disappointed in the lack of seasoning as well, I was pretty excited to try them as they had a good crisp golden colour and looked delicious. Out of the group, only 1 of my friends out of the 4 of us enjoyed their meal. I did get the worst meal of the group. As a summary of my review, the food looks delicious but doesn't taste very good. The drinks were the highlight of the morning but the were average at best. Service was okay, the lady was really nice even if she did mess up a couple times. The atmosphere started good until we got seated next to the (unnecessary) DJ. I do think that a lot of my visit was circumstantial and I might consider going again in the future.
