Love love love Jo at the Tailor shop she's an amazing seamstress and I will never not recommend her!

When I googled for a tailor in Saskatoon, this shop only had 2 reviews - not many compared to the others on the list. Also, it's called "Tailor Shop", a name so generic that I thought Google was somehow mimicking my search term. AND it's another one of those places that you could easily miss because it's tucked in between Arthur Rose Cleaners and another business. Blink and you'll miss it. In fact it is somehow connected to Arthur Rose Cleaners, because after the alterations were done on my pants, they sent them up there to be pressed. But the Tailor Shop is just in the double doors, down the stairs and straight ahead - not to be confused with the lawyers office on the left. (grin) The seamstress herself had a bit of spit and vinegar to her. But I don't mind that. In fact it shows personality, and that makes things interesting instead of just getting one more polite smile when you know the person behind it is really not feeling like having a nice day but still wishes you one. And she did a great job. Two pairs of pants being hemmed up were done and 3 days and that's with me telling her I was in no rush. Getting them pressed was icing on the cake, something I hadn't even expected. What I'm trying to say is that it's a treasure hidden in a number of ways. This explains the smallish mention on the web, and not its lack of quality or something like that. I even hesitate to post this review because maybe people will read it - and then all start going there - and then I'll have to wait 2 weeks to even get in the door!!! Probably not. But just to be sure, I think I'll just tuck this review between the one for the cleaners and the lawyers... (wink) Service: Alterations
