On April 6 2023, I hired The Tree Whisperer to remove two massive maple trees that were dying and at risk of causing damage to the neighbouring properties. They showed up on time, quoted an very reasonable price, worked efficiently but more importantly, safely. They cleaned the neighbouring yards and swept up as much of the mess that the chipper made as they could. I will absolutely be hiring them for the rest of my projects in the future. It doesn't matter what you believe in, these guys do amazing work. I can't believe none of the fences got wrecked in the process considering the trees hung halfway into the neighbours yard.

Booked them for a regular, run-of-the-mill stump removal. When they came, the owner, Mark, said it would be a simple and quick job. He spent most of his time in his truck, filming himself on his cellphone going on these weird political rants. When I asked him about it and how much longer the job was going to take, he sounded angry and said something about child groomers taking over the city (????). Was shocked at how poor and unprofessional the service was. Looked at their company Twitter afterwards and, sure enough, has a bunch of weird political conspiracy posts. Owner seems like a paranoid narcissist who's more interested in trying to be a social media influencer than a business owner. If you're looking for a competent, timely, professional arborist I would steer clear. If you want to learn more about chemtrails or vaccine mind control, they may be your cup of tea.
