Came in with a loose trailer rim that I needed a tire only mounted onto, no balancing or installing it back onto the trailer. Just strictly a loose wheel that I needed a tire mounted on, 10 minute job MAXIMUM if your a decent tire tech. I called at 5:15 and the lady said to come down with it and they could squeeze it in, I was there at 6:15 with the loose wheel and new tire. The lady behind the counter said it was too late, that their tech was already on another job. Fine, whatever. It is what it is, right? Yea... Not so fast. You see I just happened to walk into the store while the lady was on the phone talking to the customer for said job there tech was now on. It was supposed to be a tire repair that turned into a mount and balance of a new tire because the customers tire couldn't be fixed. Not a big deal, 20 minutes and the job would have been done. There would have been time for my 10 minute job, but for whatever reason I was denied service. Now I've been a technician in the Auto service industry for the last 11 years or so, and something like this really really disappoints me and turns me away from going back here. There was enough time for my job after the tech was done with his current job. But the lady behind the counter was either too ill informed or too inexperienced to know that she should have consulted the tech to ask if there was enough time, instead of turning away a customer who has spent at least a couple thousand dollars there in the last year alone and wouldn't go anywhere else. I haven't had a lot of issues with this store. I was over charged a bit on one thing, but it wasn't entirely their fault. As someone with a solid back ground as a technician, I understand that things happen. But I've butt'd heads with this lady a couple times in my time going to this store, and I've been pretty disappointed with her performance and unprofessional attitude. She's very argumentative, and a bit full of herself at times. At the end of the day, I wouldn't recommend dealing with her if you decide to keep doing business with this place. I will keep going back because the other people behind the counter have treated me right, but I will avoid her from now on.
