Jolly Giant Pub & Motel

I found the Jolly Giant to have excellent service on both the pub and motel sides. The pub has great decor, filled with an eclectic blend of antiques, memorabilia and collectibles. We tried then Mercury Burger, chicken fingers, and two different pizzas. All the food including the hand cut fries were excellent. They also have a great selection of beers from Rebellion Brewing. The motel rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and included a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I would stay here again!

The bar was nice and the meals were good. The rooms were clean, but the sink was plugged in the first room I was in, and the second room the valve stem for the shower was broken off, and I always found 1 maple bug crawling around each day. There is constant creaking and sometimes the people upstairs really stomp around. I recommend earplugs. For a small inn located in a small town, it's definitely the best you will get in that area.

Rooms: The room was comfy and clean. The fridge is a good size. I liked how the sink is outside of the bathroom. There could have been a lamp on the sofa table under the TV. The room was a little dark. Housekeeping did a great job. I would stay here again. Food & drinks: I had hot wings one night and pizza the other. Both were very good and reasonably priced. I was impressed with both the food and the atmosphere of the pub. Service was also really great. Noteworthy details: I managed to get one of the limited bottles of vodka labeled with the hotel name. What a great keepsake to take home.
