L.A. Collection Bridal & Formal Fashions

I got my dress from L.A. collection and it was one of my greatest experiences. My consultant was very helpful and professional . (I think her name was Sonya) She didnt try to push sales at all. She listened carefully to what I said and grabbed a dress for me which was perfect. As soon as i tried on the dress, my friends started crying. It was my dream dress! The only negative point is that the store was so busy and noisy. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you L.A.

My mom and I walked in today to get some ideas for my wedding next year. Even though we didnt have an appointment, Yolanda accommodated us above and beyond. She was so sweet and did not make us feel rushed at all (I really hope we didnt keep her late). Although we were just looking since it was my moms birthday, I may have found the one and will be back with my MOH. Thank you so much Yolanda, for your kindness and patience. You made my first experience so memorable and special.

Came here for my grad dress and was treated so wonderfully by everyone! My consultant was very helpful as well as my seamstress! Even when I called to book appointments they treated me kindly. I am from 5 hours out of the city so when I came in for alterations they rushed the hem on my dress and I was able to take it home that day!

I regret saying yes to the dress. My experience there was heartbreaking. This store in Winnipeg is one of the best bridal stores and has beautiful dresses, but it is very unfortunate to be advised by a sales representative that the dress you want only needs minimal alternations, which is inconsistent with what the seamstress said when I brought it to her. Her jaw dropped while she explained that it is 2 sizes too small and why would a store sell this to you in this size? Of course, hearing this and the high price of alternations is upsetting but I was more upset that I didnt feel listened to. I explained to them that I work outside the province and need a dress off the rack with minimal alternations, but I was sold one of their most expensive dresses that needs so much alterations that it looks like a different dress. Just watch out, because their main goal is profit so they will say anything to get you to buy the dress. Also, theres no returns or exchanges.

LA collections is fat phobic and makes people pay extra ($50 in this case) for sizes over 14. Not sure why they cant evenly spread the price out for all sizes as theres still a big difference from size 0 to size 14 which is not charged extra. Its way over priced, but has lovely dresses.
