Park Cafe

Stopped by on a Sunday for tea and a treat. It was busy but I was seated right away. Cinnamon bus was not fresh baked as advertised. Top was dried out and bottom was soggy. Fir $6.50 I ate it anyway. The breakfast others were having looked good.

Went again....it was aweful. Hasbrowns are on the menu to be fried with onions and green peppers. what we got were deep fried burnt chips. Over salted. couldn't eat them. asked for some salsa. never got it. cold coffee. for what they charge, they need to rethink how they operate.

Went for breakfast and everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. The eggs benedict were delicious - wish I could make delicious Hollandaise sauce like that! I went back one week later - ordered the reuben and was sadly disappointed - barely any filling - a few strands of sauerkraut, and the meat was just wadded into a ball and plopped in the middle of what I question to be rye bread. Fries were undercooked and barely warm. I did not voice my opinion of my meal to our server, as it was a celebratory lunch and didnt want to be the negative in our group - and also because we had the kindest, most patient and attentive server (Patrick, I believe) Our server the week prior was also wonderful - friendly and attentive (lady with the bird earrings!) Otherwise, this restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere - very clean, lots of light, view of duck pond.
