Budget Truck Rental

My rental was only OK. The customer service was great that I received from Justin at the desk when I picked up the car. However, I picked up the car on Friday morning and it was overcast outside. When we drove away and the sun came out I noticed the car was quite dirty. Bug guts on the front and dirt all over the vehicle. We had a wedding to attend (the reason why I came to Winnipeg) and I had to take the car and get it washed before I could attend as the car was being used to carry people from the wedding party. The door jams were full of dust and dirt and all had to be wiped down. The interior otherwise was tidy. Just too bad someone didnt clean the car properly on the exterior. When I dropped it off I dropped it off after hours and used the key drop box. I called the next day and explained my concern hoping for a small resolution. Justin spoke with a manager and the manager said because I didnt note the concern when I picked it up, there is nothing they could do for me. This is just poor customer service. A simple phone call back with an apology from a manager would have been better than nothing at all. And I had to call and follow up, not the other way around. Attached are photos of when I picked it up, and photos of when I dropped it off. It should have looked the way it did when I dropped it off when I picked it up.

I have never had a better experience with any other rental company. I first went to Budget Regent when my car was broken into and I was desperate for a vehicle (being a mom who was working in Selkirk at the time and having a 7 year old son who plays hockey I needed something and I needed it fast) to get to work while mine was with MPI. Lauren went above and beyond to accommodate me while I was dealing with the stress of dealing with my vehicle. She made everything easy, and quick while being comforting and kind. I live at the other end of the city and continue to make the trip to rent vehicles when I need specifically to deal with Lauren and the Budget Regent Team because of how well I was treated. Thank you for everything!!
