Got to my 10:30 appointment a few minutes early and ended up waiting for 25 minutes. I never usually get seen on time and the actual appointment it self only takes 2 minutes. Results have been great for me but Seems very overpriced $210 a session just for laser hair removal just on underarms. Theres a few places cheaper that use the same laser which I might try next time as I end up being there for nearly 40 minutes for a 2-5 minute laser appointment.

The place is probably very profitable judging by their way of running the business. Usually dont give out one star for one instance, but if there are multiple chances to make things right but was never even considered, a one star may even be too much. Made a consultation appointment at 1pm (first appointment, picked Thursday of any week, didnt pick the time, it was provided to me). Got childcare arrangement and went there early (not sure traffic, did not want to be late) and the door was locked, around 12:45. Knocked, no one showed up. Called, multiple times, no one picked up. Checked Google map again, it says open 9-5. Very confused. Waited in the windy - 20 outside for a few minutes until the carpet company staff showed up to change the carpet for them. He knocked on a window on the side and someone came out and opened the door for him, magically. Followed him in through the outside door and he told me they would not let me in, the door was only opened for him to change the carpet. Didnt think any business would keep customers wait outside in winter when they seemed to have plenty of space inside. Still, didnt actually go in, just standed by the inside door and hoped someone would see me. Lots of people was sitting in the waiting area next to the door but no one seemed to notice me. Waited until the same person who opened the door came out to lock the door again and saw me. Told her I had an appointment at 1 and she said I should come back at 1. I was not allowed to wait in the building because they were having a meeting. #1 the business hours you had on the Google map never said the business is closed during lunch break and I didnt think show up early for an appointment was inappropriate and would get lock outside to wait. #2 the minimum you could do was to remind your visitor to not come before 1 when you offered that time to a first time visitor. #3 put a voice mail in your phone to let others know not to bother you before 1 pm if your meeting is so important that no one should even dare to disturb. #4 you could at least check with me to see if I had a place to stay for the 15 minutes that you must kept me lock out. Walking me out of the outside door and expecting me to find a place to stay without asking was not nice. It is -10 feels like -20 with 10m/s wind outside. Last time I had to wait outside in such a condition was for Service Canada when I DID NOT make an appointment and there was NO SPACE to stay inside due to Covid restrictions and I was well aware that I could be waiting outside. Canceled the appointment because I didnt think I would survive the cold 15 minutes wait outside before I can be allowed to enter. Anyway, I was very excited at first, wanted to try the service, made my effort to find childcare, and all for just being locked out in cold because I was not supposed to come early. This makes me wonder, if I started the treatment, will I always be responsible for anything that goes wrong in my treatment because I didnt know something I was not even told? The business deals with peoples most personal and intimate needs. How will anyone trust this business if their first encounter with the business ends with such disappointment.

I felt special. Ive been twice now and would revoke D anyone who is hesitating to go to the Derm centre. The staff are so kind, the place is relaxing, parking is great and I felt educated on my options.
