Eastern Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

I'm not very happy with the shop. I know they are busy and John is a nice guy. I booked my Grand Cherokee in for an inspection, because there was a noise coming from the front. In the afternoon I got the result and estimate. The quote shows cad 4400 for replacing 1 front strut, replacing brake and steering fluid, replacing the belt and they found further an oil leak which coming from the oilpan. Anyway, what has to fixed it has to be fixed. That was on a Monday and I was told it will be ready by Thursday. Thursday afternoon I got a call and I was told, there is a problem with 3 bolts and the car won't be ready. Friday the same and it was the long weekend for Victoria day. At the end I could get the car back by Wednesday after I complained. They gave me a discount of cad 200 and a voucher for a wash and detailing, that was nice. On Thursday someone from that company called me and let me know that my parts are arrived ! Whaaat ? The employee stumbled, after I asked, if the shop used maybe older parts, because I picked up my car already, oh no, it's my mistake or a computer fault. Now I'm really confused and I'm not sure if this company can still be trusted.

Come in earlier than needed to take advantage of their change oil "spring deal", then got charge with standard cost plus miscellaneous. I questioned the charges, they did throw in some "discounts" to lower the cost but still significantly higher that the "spring deal". And, they missed to check one item I asked them to look at.

Stay away from Eastern!! They are scammers and incompetent. I purchased my NEW 2020 wrangler that had electrical issues and I wasnt able to drive it for months. I got over that but then when I changed my winter to summer tires (purchased and only ever put on and stored by Eastern). After I left them, my new mechanic noticed at least 2 lug nuts on EACH tire stripped and it was rusted onto the wheel hub?!?! Also I paid extra when I purchased it for the wiring for the hitch - shockingly they charged me for it but it wasnt installed and had to pay Murray Jeep to fix it and as expected when I called the service manager in May 2023 he was rude and refused to make that right. I would avoid this place - its a joke and quite frankly close to criminal with their fraudulent service department. Be aware and stay away!!!

Terrible service department. Even their own coworkers that work in sales and finance admit it. (However, Not until after they get your money). Don't make the same mistake as me. Avoid this place.
