I brought dress shirts in for dry cleaning and after picking up the shirts, 2 of them had new stains that werent there prior to drop off. When I filed a compensation claim, I was denied, stating that the stains were already there. This was not indicated anywhere on my initial receipt, which the employee said they would do in that instance. I was given no additional information and no compensation for ruining 2 new dress shirts. Disappointing.

I just gave two suit (mens) jackets for pressing at Perth dry cleaners in Winnipegs 360 Main street location (downtown Winnipeg). When I picked up my jackets, I was appalled to see that they had used bare metal/wire hangers to hang the jackets!!! Are you kidding me? For suit jackets, you have to use shoulder guards over the metal hangers to prevent creating an impression on the shoulder of the jacket. See attached pictures. I even told the lady what they should do and she had no clue what I was talking about. Furthermore, I was not impressed with the quality of their work either. I paid $29 for pressing two jackets and I still found creases on the jackets. I am 100% sure I could have done a better job myself. There were $600 jackets. I am not saying they are ruined; but now I have to fix them. I would not hesitate to give them my business for t-shirts or bathroom rugs, but definitely not for my clothes. Absolutely no quality in their workmanship. Now, I am sure they outsource their work, but they need to hold their vendors to a higher standard. They do have great service like free pick-up, delivery etc. but are missing out or not focusing on what they should first be focusing on; taking care of our clothes.
