I shop here frequently and have found that her people skills @ times are something to be desired. Her conversations with her coworkers or her phone seem
to be what really matters most.
Today was the final straw.
Waiting to pay, she was having a lot of laughs with a coworker who was also making a purchase.
Fair enough, I can understand. But what happened next, I don't.
A Gentlemen who had a cart then comes into line behind me. She then turned towards us & says
"He can help you over there at #1"
What she said next was totally outta line. Her then saying, "I can't take everyone". Well guess what, you're a cashier. That's your job.
If you don't like it, get a new job.
I'm a former retail store manager and had any of my cashiers had that attitude, there would have been some serious discussion about their future.
However, the only future thing that will happen is that I'll just have to find myself another place to shop. It isn't really much further for me to shop at Superstore or Walmart.
Too bad that this Sobeys doesn't have self-checkout.
