This is a horrible place to work! They do not properly train their employees and the pay is literally laughable. In three years I received a .25 raise (yet was on the caregiver alumni). When I brought this up to H.R. I was completely ignored and not emailed back, then I was send a termination letter the next few days! Administration plays favourites ant this agency and if you dont accept a job, they shun you basically and wont call you to pick up jobs leaving you without work. Hun please think twice before working for COHC! TRUST ME. P.s. They also pay us in gift cards to write good reviews for the agencySUS

After being a stay-at-home mom for 20 years, I was very excited to re-enter the work force when Comforts of Home-Care hired me as a caregiver. "Working" with my clients wasn't like work at all. It was more like going to visit a family member; going shopping and out for lunch with a friend. It is very rewarding and you feel like you're making a difference in the lives of seniors. I loved hearing their life stories and learning first hand about "the old days". More recently, I was given the opportunity to join the amazing office staff! It's so great working with this amazing group of women, who have dedicated their lives to making a difference, in the lives of people in need. Great place to work!
