Westland Insurance

Since being taken over by Westland I have not had the phone answered by a person once. I have to leave a message and they will return my call typically in 24 hours. Not like before when you could call and talk to a real person right away. Very sad the erosion in service.

Ive called this branch many times. No one has ever picked up the phone. In order to use them, I usually have to go down in person. Thats not the service Im looking for. I tried one last time this week. Left an urgent message that I needed to pay an overdue account that day. They didnt even call me back same day. The staff arent very friendly in person or over the phone and I get the feeling they dont really enjoy what they do or care to help the customer in any meaningful way. So I called HUB insurance. They picked up on the first ring and took my payment and emailed me a receipt. Job done and they thanked me for my business. In the future Ill take all my insurance business elsewhere. This isnt a business Ill continue to support and my referrals will always go to HUB.

I purchased a home with a close possession date so needed property insurance sooner rather than later. I contacted 9 insurance brokers in the city and Charlene at Westland was by far the fastest, most responsive, and provided me with the best quote. She went above and beyond and was so nice to work with! I can't recommend her enough :)
