BMO Bank of Montreal

Ive banked with BMO for over 11 years, but Im changing banks now. Endless technical problems and poor customer service; everytime I go to use ATM the door is locked early as 6Pm at some branches! You get more responsive, more empathetic service from larger banks than you get here. Im tired of not being able to access my account because of mysterious outages that no one can explain. Im tired of such a headache organization. I ve tried to let it go so many times but I'm over it now. I want every account that I ve with BMO shut down and moving on with another Bank with more convenient! Bye!

I am so upset about one of personal banker I was asking about gic and trying to made appointment with her by email , she even didn't relpy me , she could tell me if she can not make appointment for mebut she chose ignore me,it was rude and bad experience at Bmo, I consider to transfer my money to other bank right away

Visited bank for the first time. The staff was friendly. The lady who we had the appointment with was really helpful, efficient and friendly. Great 1st impression of the bank. Hope that stays the same.

Asked to close a joint account with my ex wife for the 4th time, instead they closed all 9 accounts, then requiring documents for proof of address and identity, funny I left my abuse wife and have no proof I exist other than my ID with her address now so I'm not allowed to have an account with them after all these years banking with BMO. Not happy at all. Update: after e-mailing as requested by BMO, as well as leaving 2 voicemails now. "We'll return your call by the end of the day" must mean something different to a bank. Here we are 5 days later, not a word from BMO other than the reply to my review.
