Im going to change my review from a five star to a no star if I could as Staff have changed at this pet value is like every other pet value they greet you but thats about it. I remember the time that my dog got more hugs and kisses and pets than I even give my dog. From the pet value, Staff Thats what those stores are supposed to be about helpful loving and caring to your animals and helpful to you the customer . But anymore. They treat you like youre going to steal something watching you and not very helpful since theres been a staff change, Ive noticed a huge difference that is negative and I dont think I will ever shop at pet value again

I use to favor this location over all the others stores. What happened to this place?! The staff has completely changed. You use to be welcomed on name basis. The girls a couple years ago made this location so special. Now they just have a bunch of quiet not really friendly staff. The new store layout is so awful. They make you stand in line surrounded by all the stinky dog treats. Either get bins with lids or change your layout. No one wants to smell stinky fish and beef sticks while waiting to make a purchase. Will be taking my business to Rendeers location.

Not the place to go with your dog if your dog is nervous, aggressive or reactive on leash. I went in with my dog because I didnt want to leave him in the car and we were met with a dog free-roaming the store without supervision. He popped around the corner and started to bark at my dog. I later found out that the dog belongs to one of the staff I ended up sending my fianc outside with my dog because I dont allow him to meet other dogs on leash, especially dogs I dont know. The staff member (and who I assume owns the dog) kept telling me it was fine, and completely blew me off when I said my dog isnt friendly. This is extremely dangerous and could have resulted in something much worse. Im honestly still in shock that this is a normal occurrence for this location, and they still continue to let the dog roam free after numerous complaints.
