I'm glad my medication wasn't too expensive but it was still an unexpected expense, as I have group insurance at work I'm covered. During drop-off I showed the lady at the front my insurance card. Everything seemed fine. Not sure what happened in between that time but when I went to get my medication I still had to pay full price. I asked if my insurance just didn't cover it. She told me my insurance wants me to sign up for Manitoba deductibles before they would cover my medication. Then she handed me a Pharmacare application. Pharmacare is for those who are not covered with a 3rd party insurance, such as group insurance with work, and if you're low income. I don't fall into those criteria. I was just confused and unsure what they were doing, what went wrong. I was asking questions as nicely as I could. The lady brought over the Pharmacist who spoke to me way too loud and sounded annoyed. My daughter was sitting a ways away and could hear what he was saying. He had no respect for my dignity and confidentiality. They tried gaslighting me into thinking my insurance is the one giving me issues. I've just emailed them to get their side of the issue but will have to wait for a response back. When I read other's having experience with these Pharmacists here mucking up people's insurance, I'm now wondering if they were the ones who messed up the information. I feel like I've just been insulted. I do feel insulted. I hope this wasn't a situation of discrimination or wrongful judgement, but I'm leaning towards there like a palm tree in a hurricane.

Terrible service. Incompetant staff. Don't know how to properly process my insurance and made me pay full price telling me I don't have coverage when I do. If I could rate lower, I would. Staff are also very rude. Will put you on hold and then hang up on you.
