I.D.A. - Pharmamir Pharmacy

Amir is a fantastic pharmacist, and friend, he honestly treats you like family. He takes the time to explain all your medications,; our family was with Amir when he was at Extra Foods, when we found out he was on Main Street we automatically switched, we were berry sad to leave Amir due to our Doctors secretary not liking his policies. Amir is a true gentleman. Great human being.

Amir is fabulous. We have been using him for years and he's always been so friendly & helpful. Refills are often ready before we even call them in! It's truly wonderful to have him operating in our neighbourhood and to have a pharmacist that knows us personally.

This is my new go-to pharmacy in Winnipeg and I cannot recommend it enough to others. At the centre of my amazing experience with I.D.A. - Pharmamir Pharmacy is its owner and operator, Amir. Bottom line: If you value exceptional customer service, you will likely find even a 15 minute drive to Amirs pharmacy worth the trip. I recognized that this man is not just another pharmacist, but a man called to service, before it was even my turn at the counter. An elderly, frail lady was before me, and it took only seconds to recognize that the two had a standing neighbourly relationship. Amir was kind and patient and gave the lady all his attention and care. But that was just a glimpse. When my turn came, Amirs attitude towards his work and me as a fellow human whom he happened to be able to help, took centre-stage. Here are a few examples of the character he demonstrated through his dedication to exceptional customer service: - He immediately attended to filling my prescription and asked me to wait 5 minutes (it took less). - Amir was very friendly, kind, respectful and caring. - He was empathetic and asked all the right questions to ensure I felt informed and at ease regarding my new prescription. - He exercised generosity and good faith and never made me feel like he just wanted to move me through the checkout. - Amir went over and above by informing me of the Pharmacare plan, printing out an application and even offering to fax it on my behalf. - He informed me that next time a doctor writes me a prescription, I should ask reception to phone him with it, so that he can have have it filled by the time I arrive. Because I lived nearby, he even offered to deliver any prescriptions to my door (no indication of expecting any kind of compensation). - Before I left his pharmacy, Amir handed me his business card and a nice promo pen, under the only condition that I do not discard his business card into the garbage. Not only did I not discard it - I passed it on with a warm reference. - After the end of his work day, he stopped by my nearby home to personally deliver new prescription stubs for my meds, in which he had originally misspelled my first name. I had not even noticed, but to him it was important enough a detail to decide to make the trip and treat me how he would treat a dear family member.
