Liz Riley, who was the Property 'Manager' of my previous condo building was extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and biased toward approval of a building project onsite (which was not permitted by city by laws). I suppose this sort of role doesn't require education of any kind, but some kind of competency should be required. Beware, beware, beware. The city can be your ally if any situation arises

Wow. Im stumped. Some of these reviews just dont make sense. I figure Ill add my 2 cents to this thread: Ive had a professional relationship with linden property management for approximately 10 yrs now. I own a painting company, and do the majority of their requests for the properties the manage. Firstly, the properties Ive worked on/in, have, for the majority, been clean, well kept, residences. Whether theyre apartments or single dwelling units. Myself or my guys have never encounter bed bugs or any of those other gross insects you find in the not so nice places. Secondly, the caretakers that I work with for scheduling etc are all professional and courteous. They take pride in their responsibilities and the apartments and common areas are always kept up. Thirdly, the staff themselves at linden. After 10years, you kinda get to know a company, and how they perform. I can say with complete honesty that Ive NEVER had ANY issues with these people. EVER. Ive always been paid when Im supposed to be, they never give BS excuses to myself or my staff. Theyre always open and upfront with us, and even accommodate when schedules conflict. The other property management companies arent as lenient with this Ive found. So yeah, my sole reason for this review is to try and set the record straight in regards to this company. If I wasnt a home owner, Id rent from this company in a second. And to back up that claim, I helped my daughter and boyfriend get an apartment in a property that linden manages, where they lived for 2 years without any issues. Worst company ever. Never responds to any emails. would love for the owner to get back to me with an email i can send. Especially when its a health and safety concern. 3 balcony railings fell and could of serious hurt someone or killed someone. I contacted the manager and got zero response when i was concerned about mine because it was wobbley. I would love for the person who responds to the good reviews to give me contact information. They are finally doing an investigation when the 3rd one fell. why not do something after the first time one fell. I even asked if they did an investigation to find the root cause why it happend and if they did any preventive maintence or inspections on the railings and no response. Lets see if they even care about seriously hurting someone...prove me wrong by giving me who i can speak to who is above the property manager.... plus this painting company is writing a good review cause they hire him to paint of course he is going to try and butter them up. Would a painter be aware of them ignoring emails with complaints or structial damage to balconies? dont think a painter is trained on that??

Totally agree with the review about being greedy and unfair, as that has now been my experience. I wait to see how/if this would be resolved. It seems like because I postpone my walk through day by one day, they charged me $209 for rent and even after I had my tub and oven cleaned thoroughly, and they had no issue while doing the walk through, they later claimed it was extremely dirty and charged me almost $400. I wait to see how this will play out. I just wish I had pictures from when I was moving out. Aside from that, I would say communication with them is easy and quick.
