Our bank used this company for the assessment of a potential condo purchase. They took over two weeks to do it, putting the whole deal at risk, and in the end appraised at over $100,000 below market value. The "comparable" condo they used was 10 years older, in a different part of the city, had double the condo fees, and had inferior finishes such as laminate flooring. Whoever they sent has no appreciation for the little details like higher ceilings, hardwood floors, granite countertops, floor to ceiling windows, etc. I do NOT recommend this company!

We were looking to refinance our mortgage and our bank sent Grant to assess our house. He didn't ask any specific questions during the assessment and never explained the process or how they value a home. Upon hearing the results of the assessment, we felt incredibly dismayed. We did not have unrealistic expectations of what our house was worth, but we knew it was worth more than what was indicated. We requested the bank do a second assessment, which was completed by a different company, and it came in $40,000 higher than the first one. We also had to pay out of our own pocket for this second assessment as the bank would only cover the first one. I am not sure where Grant studied or his background, but I definitely would not recommend ever going with this company. Clearly they aren't in tune with the market.
