Naru Sushi Japanese Restaurant

A nice little sushi restaurant on Osborne Village! The restaurant itself is smaller, so if you're looking for a more intimate sushi setting, then this place should definitely be on your radar. However, apart from it's location and their sushi boats, nothing else sets this apart from other sushi restaurants if you're visiting from a tourist perspective. Vegetarian options: Vegan and gluten free options are readily available, but be wary as a lot of the deluxe sushi has mayo on it if you're looking to stay away from egg-based sauces.

Really loved this place for years and years!! But my most recent experience in over a year and it is just not the same. Im so sad! The service was mediocre at its best and the food just not the same. Pictures on their menu and my personal pictures Ive taken from previous visits are totally different from what I got. (I usually order the same items, red scorpion, Poseidon, double salmon and others). Their response was thats before covid and thats just for looks, we dont do that anymore for example: we dont put in fish eggs anymore, we dont include a lobster tail anymore. I also ordered chef choice 9 piece nigiri and he gave me 2 different types of fish..
