Fort Garry Veterinary Hospital

I brought my 2 months puppy here and he was diagnosed with parvovirus. Dr.Wawryk advised me that they had to transfer him to the Bridgewater Vet hospital because he was sick and needed help right away, Ive asked her what would that cost me and she said up to $5000, I then asked her if she knows humane society can help or deals with cases like this. She told me they would euthanize my dog because parvo is very contagious and they dont help dogs that have parvo. Which is a false statement and very unprofessional of her. I called humane society myself and they told me my dog could be transferred ASAP, they then called Fort Garry vet and asked for him to be transferred but she told them he was to weak to be transferred when earlier in the day she told me he needed to be transferred to bridgewater right away! She then made me wait for over an hour in the room with him for nothing so I decided to make an appointment with humane society and get the help that my puppy needed. I would like to say that Dr.Wawryk was very unprofessional and did not care about the health or wellbeing of our animals. I would never come back to fort Garry again and Ive been a client here for over the past 7 years, this is my 4th pet that Ive brought here. I will be telling everyone about this experience and no longer recommend them.

Felt like they really cared about the health of my cat and dog! Will definitely return for more services. (Melman, Phil and Harley love you guys)
