Genevieve Bay Inn

Amazing place and experience. The staff 10/10 all the ladies were so sweet and kind. The food - 20/10 amazing and tasty, staying for the weekend and hungry at 12 pm? They got you , hungrys their restaurant is open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, a cozy little area for food has an almost home feel to it. there is choices for cereals, poptarts and toast ; coffee, tea and hot chocolate for breakfast. The bar is very spacious. The rooms 10/10 ,very unique. We opted for the Double bed bunks. I slept very well on the top bunk (I had to enjoy a top bunk in my 30s) They have choices with the pillows on the beds firm and soft so you can choose. In our room we had 3 fluffy blankets tucked into the drawers in the room. I normally take my own but had forgotten so I really appreciated that. I recommend this place 1000 percent it's a old elementary and has a light feeling of its roots, staying in an old classroom is pretty neat, If your into staying in unique places I strongly recommend staying there. I truly enjoyed my stay and did my 12 year old. Genevieve bay inn, we will see you again in our future travels for sure. Thank you for a welcoming, warm stay.

Very pleasant stay. A hidden gem. So many nice touches, in the bedrooms, the hallway, the dining area, the bar. Hot water radiation heat with thermostat in your bedroom. Continental breakfast including homemade Newfoundland bread. Five minutes from the Ferry to Labrador.
