Mark's

I was served by Makiah today. She was phenomenal!! She had no idea that I had just had dealings with the Bayers Lake location and just due to very poor customer service I decided to give a different location my business. I would NOT suggest shopping at Bayers Lake Mark's and I WOULD suggest, even if you have to go far out of your way like I did, to shop at the Dartmouth Crossing location!! Thank you so much Makiah for your incredible customer service today! Especially when I find it is very much lacking a lot of other places. :) I hope Makiah feels valued by you, Mark's, because she deserves it!

Went looking for work boots saw several employees but was not approached one time. Went to the cash to ask about holding an item or seeing if another store had one the young girl was very nice called the halifax store for me and then she was approached by a coworker who was extremely rude and berating her in front of me about how they don't do holds ,she shouldn't be on the phone being the only cashier rolling her eyes etc . I said if they can't be held that is fine , she said they can be held one hour (with a very unhappy tone ) . I told her I don't think I would make it to Halifax and back in an hour she said then they will be put on the shelf with an extremely rude attitude. I mentioned the attitude and then was met with even more to the point I was told I needed a life and to get a hobby! The girl also approached me as if she wanted to fight me and actually asked me what I would like to do... I have worked customer service over 20 years and never come in contact with someone like her thank God! I will be going back tomorrow to talk to her manager in person. It was absolutely appalling.

Maybe it is just the Canadian Tire attitude rubbing off on this store cause they're so close, but no employee seems to have any interest in dealing with any customer. Not that they have much knowledge of any product they sell. Products are fine. Service is a joke.
