The first call went well. I was sketchy because of the other reviews that aren't the best. We'll see how this goes and I will post another review when things move along on the situation at hand.

My opinion from dealings with them... I would not recommend going to the Ombudsman. From my experience they acted in bad faith and then use their powers to claim they are above any scrutiny. I have seen their staff lie and produce false reports. Then they hide under a veil of secrecy and threaten that you cannot release any information and that they are above all laws. Who do you complain to when it is the ombudsman's office who is the wrong doer? If there is a complaint against the Government they will lie and cheat so that it does not see the light of day. You are much better off to go to the media with your complaints and bypass this fraud mechanism to stifle your complaints. Do not bother with them. They appear to be petty civil servants who claim on high powers as a supreme court judge, but without the capacity to understand or properly perform their duties. This office should be viewed as any other government office, with the great possibility of being corrupt, lazy, underfunded, incompetent, perhaps worse - as their duty is to investigate their own. Stay away, best to seek legal advice, go to media, social media.

Supposedly they help your cause by taking your case on by contacting whatever government body you have an issue on you behalf as your last resort for hope and justice and they claim that if you are found correct that they will make a "recommendation" to that government body. Yesterday (10:30 am or so , Tues, July 3, 2018) my experience was the opposite as I spoke to a "Murdoch" someone in management there who did not listen to what I had to say and would make suggestions that I had just explained prior. I spend about 30 minutes repeating myself and explaining my situation and every time he had a different unrealistic answer. He was saying the opposite of his employee Kyle Johnson who was very helpfull but when I asked to speak to him instead I was told to speak to Murdoch. It seems people say something and then change their mind a month later, I take it Kyle did not want to speak to me even though he stated to ask for him a month later. I am defending myself, exercising my freedom of speech and freedom of association in making the above statement. As well I am a citizen, voter and tax payer. "Omega Man" (the other person on here who left a review a week ago) also had bad experiences. I hope more people post their experiences on here.
