Rooms: Clean, spacious, and great amenities. Placement of the chandelier above the bed vs in center of main room, or over the couch, seems a bit odd and potentially dangerous. Otherwise, a great room with beautiful views. Nearby activities: Tons of great bars and restaurants in downtown Halifax. The public gardens and Citadel are also nearby and worth a visit. Convenient location. Walkability: Great location within walking distance of historical sites, bars, restaurants, and the harbor front. Food & drinks: While we didnt use the minibar, the dinner at Chop was excellent. Delicious Negroni and perfectly cooked steak.

The Sutton Place Halifax is an absolutely beautiful hotel. It is modern, clean and catches the eye aesthetically from the moment you step foot inside. The location is central and convenient, and the views of the city are a wonderfully added bonus. We have stayed here on multiple occasions, and the quality and consistency are on point every time. The outstanding nature of this hotel carries through beyond its looks, as their customer service goes above and beyond as well. The front office supervisor, Yaryna, is one of the best employees I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did she go the extra mile when I mentioned we were there for our anniversary, but she exceeded expectations in anything we needed during our stay. Yaryna personally made our experience an exceptional one, and because of her The Sutton will always be our first choice when we are in the area. Thanks Yaryna, and thanks to The Sutton team for always being great!
