Cant remember the doctor I saw todays name because the whole experience was a bit traumatic. But basically, I went in for shoulder pain Ive had for several years, and was dismissed several times when I explained Ive tried many medications for it, and I didnt want to be prescribed anymore. I asked if I could have an X-ray or mri done to find the cause of it. He said no it was neuropathic pain and I needed to try this medication. There were absolutely no tests done to prove it was neuropathic pain, and Even tho I asked to not receive anymore medication and that I just really wanted to find the cause, I was prescribed an antidepressant. During the appointment he asked to see my shoulder and I asked if I needed to put on a dressing gown and he said no just pull up your shirt, which I thought was very weird and honestly made me very uncomfortable. Then when I was was unable to lift my shirt because of the pain he ripped my shirt up and I had to cover my chest quickly. He used unprofessional terms like this medication could make you fat several times during the appointment. And lastly when asked if I could shrug my shoulders I tried and said it hurt too bad and he grabbed my shoulders and shoved them forwards and I have been in extreme pain since.
