The clutch on my 2016 Ford Focus recently started leaking fluid and was unreliable to say the least. Al and his crew recognized the severity of the issue and were quick to diagnose what was wrong. It turned out to be a pretty significant repair, requiring a new clutch and flywheel. Al kept in touch throughout the whole process and even showed me the failed parts when it was time to pick up my car. The car feels brand new now. Thank you for the outstanding service!

We had purchased a used honda civic from a used car dealership for our son to commute to university. Just our luck not even 3 months later a check engine light was on as well as a flashing D light and check transmission on the information Center console. We had taken it to a reputable dealership on Mapleview drive to get it diagnosed, after a full service that included a transmission fluid service the technician told us that he would erase the code and if the code came back to find a transmission shop . Well the code came back! I had called several local garages and was told that they dont work on Honda civic C V T transmission. Luckily I called Al at (mister transmission Barrie) I told Al the history and he said to bring the civic to Essa road location and where he can diagnose it for free . Al gave me an Honest diagnosis with a break down of how much it would cost . And within a week we had a total rebuilt transmission and I feel he was a trustworthy person to deal with no matter what transmission problems you have even if its a Honda C V T . I recently had the misfortune of needing to replace my transmission. The dealership wanted over $11,000 before tax to replace the transmission that they had installed only 2 years prior. Instead of doing another expensive and not so great dealership repair, I decided to tow my vehicle to Mr. Transmission on Essa Rd in Barrie. Al and all the employees are very courteous and experienced, and they had my vehicle up and running quickly. Al was very good at explaining everything about the repair to be sure I understood what they needed to do and kept me informed throughout the process. He also found and repaired some other parts that also needed repair which I appreciated very much. Al and the crew were very respectful and honest and delivered the vehicle back in excellent shape after providing a quality repair at a much lower cost than the dealership would have.
