        Was told I needed a complete 4000$ rebuild, and my transmission was slipping. Got a second opinion, and it was a 300$ repair, and transmission wasn't slipping. Do better than try to suckered someone for a whole tranny rebuild.

        Crooks! Brought my truck to Mister Transmission, was told it needed a full rebuild of the transmission. $3,600 later and the problem was still there! Brought it back and they changed a sensor free of charge. I guess mister transmission doesnt diagnose anything they just tell you that you need a full rebuild and then change the sensor for free after the problem is still there.

        New to Barrie and was looking for reputable mechanic for transmission work. Spoke to younger gentleman and left all my details. Lorenzo will call you back as soon as he is done with customer. Three days ago and no call. Guess my business is not important so Ill take it elsewhere.

      Hi Andrew, I'm sorry but I can't find your name in our system and to be called "Crooks" is somewhat unfair. However, there are many different problems with a transmission that can cause the same symptoms. For example, a transmission sometimes can stop shifting because of a shift solenoid, low fluid, bad relay, TCM malfunction, wiring harness, low battery voltage, camshaft sensor or even ABS wheel sensors. Before we recommended rebuilding your transmission, all these potential other causes would have been checked with our Multi check diagnostic procedure. If it was a minor issue, I guarantee we would have found it. We appreciate your feedback and you can certainly call us at (705) 728 3241 to discuss the issue further.
