The owner is lazy and very rude. Hotel claims to have fast WiFi, but on both occasions that I stayed there, it cut out in a matter of an hour or so. Upon notifing the owner of the problem, I was rudely hung up on. Great customer service there. To top things off, the rooms are dirty and the beds are very uncomfortable and small. Highly recommended avoiding this place, regardless of the lower price!

When we arrived, we noticed a terrible mothballs smell in the room. Then noticed one ant on the microwave. We didnt think much of it and went on our way up to BlueMountain for the evening. We came back and had some thing to eat, then went to bed. Woke up in the morning after a terrible night sleep because the people next to us were having a party and we tried contacting the front desk and nobody would answer, so needless to say we didnt get much sleep, woke up to a ton of ants, crawling all over the table right next to the bed. It was absolutely disgusting and please keep in mind it is winter. When we confronted the owner in a very nice manner I may add she told me that ants were natural , and if we were to eat or drink anything in the room there would be ants. I then told her thats not OK and any other hotel weve stayed in we were able to eat and drink and there were never ants. She argued with me and yelled, so my husband went in to speak with her, and she yelled at him as well . She then told us that she had RSV, which is not good if you were running a business and around people. She was clearly ill coughing without covering her mouth and sneezing and looked horrible. When I confronted her about telling her she had that and how she shouldnt be in public because its spreading like crazy. She told us she didnt have it. There was clearly a language barrier and a lack of cleanliness and a lack of care. You get what you pay for however we paid $112 for a room with a mattress and ants. We will be contacting the Board of Health and the Better Business Bureau. Save yourself the hassle and spend the extra hundred dollars and stay at a reputable establishment because these people are thieves and horrible. PS its not even right in Collingwood. Its on the outskirts and a little bit of a drive to blue Mountain so its definitely not worth it even if it was clean.
