After lots of contractors companies I decided to go with Moose Basements for my townhome renovation and never regretted about this.Their team understood my requirements and suggested the most functional design within my budget. They followed all building codes, approvals from respective authorities and all licenses steps to made smooth beginning of my Dream reno project.The team which came onsite was professional, courteous and highly efficient. In late 2021, my extensive condo renovation was finished and was able to finally enjoy my new home. It was a total gut job and full Reno of a very dated 1,400sq unit. Fast forward 11 months later and the real reason for this review of Moose. A few weeks ago, I noticed my hardwood floor buckling which appeared to be caused by water damage. Ive heard horror stories that once a contractor finishes a Reno and has all your money, it takes ages for them to return or even worse, never to be heard of again. This couldnt have been further from the truth with Moose. After calling Steve, it was only a couple of hours before Alex came over to assess the situation. He was able to figure out the problem and immediately arranged for a plumber to come. The remaining scope of work included removing and replacing the 5 damaged hardwood planks, repairing the drywall, plastering and painting the affected areas in the bathroom & bedroom. The painter even re-caulked and painted my living room valances that had been affected by expansion & contraction. The workmanship by the plumber, flooring guys and painter was fantastic. I expected the coordination of the trades from their busy schedules and getting the work done would have taken months but it was only 2 weeks. Mark was in constant contact and ensured everything was expedited. I even received a call from Steve on a Saturday checking in to see if I was happy with the progress. Its one thing to find a great company to entrust your Reno to, which Moose is but the true measure is how they treat you AFTER the work is done and have been paid. I highly recommend Moose, and a special thank you to Mark, Alex & Steve. We were glad to select Moose Group to perform the renovations at our condo. They were professional right from initial site meeting to final completion to ensure our vision for renovations were successful. Having an experienced renovation company that specialized in condo renovations was comforting in adhering to specific condo rules and coordinating all the logistics. It was a pleasure to work with their sales & estimating team, designer, project manager, and owners. They were responsive and courteous addressing our concerns. Some changes made to the scope of work did cause some delays and in obtaining some materials, but overall we are very pleased with the results.
