Oak & Tenon

If you've just found Oak and Tenon through Google by chance - congratulations. They're easily the best cabinet makers in Toronto. A few years ago, before COVID hit, I was in the early stages of planning a total kitchen renovation. I had specific ideas of what I wanted my cabinetry to look like, and I was struggling to find a team that was confident in their ability to execute the vision. A friend suggested Corey and Oak and Tenon (based on their Instagram account and the photos of completed work). I spoke with Corey on the phone, he came by to look at the space and we started discussing concepts. I visited the show-room, we finalized the drawings and then COVID hit, and everything was deferred by a year. As we moved through the pandemic, Corey remained involved, and kept in touch on shifting timelines. He worked closely with all the trades on the project and stepped in to help me trouble-shoot issues on the job-site that had nothing to do with the cabinetry. If a problem or a complication arose, Corey always had creative, collaborative suggestions and kept the overall aesthetic top of mind. The project was installed two weeks ago. Throughout the installation both Corey and Julian were fully involved. They truly care about the work they do, and about their clients and it shows. Their installers were always on time, courteous, clean, efficient and detailed. For the first few days, I'd walk into the new kitchen and get lost admiring the work, the craftsmanship and the attention to detail. I'm in awe of their ability to execute on custom accent pieces. They created a one of a kind space with timeless character. Corey's creativity, collaboration and thoughtful, kind approach to his craft have given me a kitchen beyond my expectations. They are absolutely the best at what they do and I am so grateful to their entire team.

Corey and team have created a number of items for me. They are beautiful to look at and I enjoy using them. If you need a piece of furniture to be custom, definitely consider Oak & Tenon.

It was a pleasure to deal with Julian. His friendly professional mannerism and genuine concern for making sure we were satisfied customers was exceptional. During Covid 19 there were delays but Julian constantly kept us informed as to the status of our order. We are more than pleased with the quality of the workmanship and would highly recommend Oak and Tenon ...........and especially working with Julian!
