AVOID AVOID AVOID. Rating -1 Star rating. Beka Casting Ltd scammed me. I dealt with Ani Bederian & Houri Bederian at Beka Casting Ltd. I purchased $9000 of fine cast aluminum patio furniture, side tables and sunbrella cushions. Initially staff was friendly and the product appeared to be decent. I was so wrong. Beka Casting claims to be a local manufacturer in Canada. Beka Casting staff are liars. Do not be fooled. In fact they are wholesalers of bulk Chinese furniture that is sandblasted & painted in Concord. Their pieces are overpriced & their furniture is not worth the premium charged. I have several pieces (chairs primarily) which are not 100% level. Rubber screws on the bottom keep falling off. Paint pitting and lifting is evident in several areas on the very expensive table. Very disappointing. Beka Casting warranty is only as good as the company backing it. Good luck trying to get a claim or repair. Try calling them. Good luck. Worse still was the fact that Beka Casting delivery driver scammed me. He delivered ~65% of the items that I had paid for. He promised to come back with the rest in the 2nd load. I am still waiting.... WARNING. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU HAVE RECEIVED EVERYTHING YOU PAID FOR. NEVER TAKE PARTIAL DELIVERY. INSTEAD SEND IT ALL BACK. YOU WILL NEVER GET IT. After chasing this company for weeks and asking them to honour their commitment. Beka Casting kept changing their story. Initially they claimed delays from their suppliers. I called & left multiple messages and emails. After weeks of delays, Beka Casting left me a message directing me to pick up the missing items in Concord 7 weeks later. Recall I paid hundreds of dollars for delivery. I go there only to find their warehouse closed for the day. When I called their number no one answered. I realized (too late) that this was a scam. As a customer in Ontario, you normally have 60 days from the date a charge appears on your credit card statement to dispute it. This time limit is established by the Fair Credit Billing Act, and it applies whether you're disputing a fraudulent charge or a purchase that didn't turn out as expected. Within 60 days I opened a credit card dispute and sought compensation only for the missing items. Initially the bank reversed the charges. Then after 6 months (while I was out of the country) the bank cited my signature for the partial delivery and reversed the partial charges. I was out $3000 dollars. Beka Casting never made me whole. I never received any Sunbrella cushions, the missing pieces and umbrella or the rest of the aluminum planters ordered. AVOID BEKA CASTING LTD. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

This patio furniture never dies. My set has been outside for 20+ yrs. even in the winter! It is just a little bit duller than it was. A little spray of varnish would bring back the luster if I feel like doing it. It is a fantastic set. Well worth the money.

Long lasting, weather proof. Has been left out all winter with no degradation in the past 10 years. Solid and comfortable.
