    1. Extremely delayed house construction 2. Delivered home with too many pending items and not livable condition 3. Not addressing any urgent emergency issues even when water is coming home or birds coming inside due to no Vents, all holes left open. 4. Not all the upgrades installed due to manual mistake and using Tarion conditions to escape from that. 5. Gave a half baked product to escape from penalties due to skipping second Firm Date. Extremely disappointed house construction. Just for example, look at the wall hole, with no vent, floor tiles holes not fixed even after 2 months of reported PDI.

  • We unfortunately had a negative experience when we purchased a detached home from this particular builder in their Keswick project. Initially, we were given an original closing date of April 2022, but it was delayed multiple times, with the final closing date set for March 2023. However, at the last moment, we required a two-day extension, for which the builder demanded a staggering amount of $80,000, inclusive of lawyers' fees and HST. Yes, you read that correctly, they wanted 80k for just a two-day extension. As a result, we had to resort to using a private lender to close the deal, resulting in an overall loss of approximately 48k due to the actions of this greedy builder. Interestingly, my cousin had a closing scheduled for next week with Brookfield in their Midhurst Valley project, and they were granted a two-week extension without any penalties. It's perplexing to comprehend how these figures are determined, and it clearly demonstrates that this builder is solely focused on money rather than prioritizing customer satisfaction. Additionally, when we received the keys to the house, we discovered that most of the issues identified during the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) had not been resolved. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this builder at all costs, as they do not prioritize quality or customer service. They are a profit-oriented company that aims to extract money from unsuspecting customers. The lawyer we consulted with mentioned that they have dealt with three more cases involving Treasure Hill, where similar exorbitant fees ranging from 40k per day to 150k for week-long extensions were imposed. It is highly recommended to refrain from purchasing from this greedy and disgraceful builder. STAY AWAY. Despite their flashy brochures, luxurious sales centers, and skilled sales team, do not fall into their trap. It is only a matter of time before Treasure Hill faces the consequences of their actions. Karma will catch up to them. Services: Home building, Luxury home building

I am extremely disappointed with Treasure Hill and this entire experience. I am 29 years old with 3 small children. Being able to purchase a home in the first place is extremely hard in todays time. I tried communicating with treasure Hill Many times about our closing and to try and figure out when we would need our mortgage completed by. We were told that when we moved into our home we would be paying occupancy fees and that they would update us when the corporation was assumed so we would have time to get all our documents in order. With a new born baby , running a business and a busy life we were told exactly 30 day before we were moving in that we were no longer doing occupancy fees that the mortgage would start on the move in date. We lost tens of thousands of dollars because of Treasure hill, that has put our young family in the most difficult position. As soon as the email was received we began getting all our documents in order and everything ready for the mortgage to start being processed. Treasure Hill is obviously not aware of how it works and the time line of getting all documents in order and sent to be processed that the time frame given was not enough. We tried to rush all parties to get things closed on time but it was IMPOSSIBLE!!!! We asked for 10 days to push the closing, and they slapped us with a 50k extension Bill. We chose not to agree and used a private lender to bridge the gap for us between our original closing and when our mortgage started. This still ended up costing us over 30k. The position we have been put in financially because of the greediness of treasure hill will never be forgotten and our first home experience is one I will never be grateful for and never wish on anyone.

We had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a townhome with this builder in Oshawa. We were given original closing date of September 2022 which was delayed a few times with the final closing date being March 2023. However at the last minute we needed a one day extension for which the builder had asked for $18000 including lawyers fees and hst for eleven days which would be about $1636 per day. The office of Treasure Hills homes however was in such a hurry to make easy money out of honest individuals so they gave 15 minutes to respond to their email. However, when Treasure Hills said they will give one day extension they asked for $6200 for one day which is about 4 times what they originally had asked for per day. What we fail to understand is where they are getting these numbers for and it honestly shows that all they care about is money and not their customers at all. Furthermore, when we got the key for the house we still didn't have the fridge in the house which has created issues for us and now we can not lease the house till May 2023 but all this builders cares about is their money. Avoid this builder at all costs they do not care about quality or customer service and is a money minded company that wants to get money out of innocent customers. Service: Home building
