Ive been unexpectedly charged $50 by Credit Union for not using my account. Surprise... I was absolutely not aware that RCU charges $50 for account being inactive. Ive never being told, nor received any notice about $50 charge. I did not see any document about $50 charge either. Nothing on their website. Ive spoken with CEO, who told me that I can do whatever I want, but I wont get the refund. I asked her - why $50 and not $150? CEO responded: Do you want me to charge you $150? I can She also told me the RCU sent me warning letter about it, which I never received. I never received a single phone call either. Ive asked if there is a record/tracking number for the letter RCA sent, - the answer was: It will cost you money!, which is no CEO of reputable organization would say. If CEO behaves and acts this way with absolutely no respect to the client, - what to expect from anyone else within RCU? Stay away! You never know what charges you'll get from them.
