I have been a client for 30 years. I do not recommend. Early on they provided glasses at a competitive price. Then it became obvious that he was in business to sell glasses. Every second comment was a nudge to buy his product. Then I realized he wastes your time. At a check up you are forced to hang around while you are supposed to pick out glasses. We stopped buying from him and still the persistent sales job. Soon he started prescribing expensive procedures over and above the regular check up. It seemed every time we went there both my wife and I 'needed' to pay a lot to use whatever his latest gadget was. For several years I could not see clearly out of my left eye. He could find nothing wrong. I moved to Boston for work. Went to a random optometrist who also struggled with a diagnosis but referred me to the top cornea specialist at Harvard. A week later it was diagnosed and a 10 min operation fixed it for good. Then returned to Canada and Carey and the visits just became painfully slow. Plan on spending 2-3 hours to get your annual checkup. All the while we have this uneasy feeling he is just in it for profits. Since Covid we have not gone in. They have never called. Everyone else we use (dentist, GP, chiropractor etc) makes us feel like they care for us and they are looking out for us. They have gone the extra mile during pandemic, but with this guy we're just glad to not see him. When things are better post Omicron we will get our eyes checked but it will be a new doctor. He is polite and friendly, but I just do not trust him.

  • Horrible. My teenager daughter was forced to boy the most expensive contact lenses. She had to use two debit cards and one credit card to pay. Not recommend at all.

I wanted a prescription as my old prescription was not with me due to COVID lockdown and it was locked in my office drawer. I reached out to their office and they said we will take extra $35 to give you a copy of prescription. In this challenging times as well, where people have lost their jobs these people will not spare anyone. Highly disappointed with their unethical behavior. Will never ever use their services and would never even recommend it to anyone.
