Coldwell Banker Sarazen Realty agent Ahmed Akeela represented the 1st set of buyers to my parents house. The dealings of that transaction were problematic enough that I consulted our lawyer in July and have retained him on this matter. Most of the reviews of this branch of Coldwell Banker Sarazen and other branches are mostly by their own agents and employees which is not in the spirit of unbiased reviews. While not illegal, this is somewhat borderline from an ethical point of view. Google search show the majority of reviewers as related parties to the agency. The owner (Colin Sarazen) or General Manager (Paul Tasse) likely post the Response from the owner to each review and the owner is essentially thanking their own agents and employees for posting glowing reviews of their own agency. Once you removed the reviews from related parties, the average ratings would be far lower. I rarely give ratings of 1 and there has to be significant issues before I do that. Im an electrical contractor who was hired by Mo Sleima who works for this firm. I cant speak on this firm itself but I most certainly can speak on one of the realtors they employ. I removed an illegal metering device from a tire shop for him that the hydro company requested be removed. I corrected a serious electrical code violation for Mo Sleima, at the time I was unable to access the upstairs panel to check on its status as there was no one available to let me upstairs. I completed the scope of work I was contracted to and submitted an invoice on an agreed amount price, only to never be paid by Mo Sleima who is now ignoring my calls texts and voicemails. Im now likely having to resort to legal action to collect on my invoice. In my opinion and in my experience with Mo Sleima I feel hes unethical, a liar, and doesnt pay his bills. Id be cautious if I ever dealt with this person again as issues like these can result in liens being placed against a property and in my experience dealing with him he doesnt seem to care if I lien the building in question. I would most certainly look elsewhere for any property management needs.
