I have a mortgage with them, Called them several times looking for help and information and just got dodged for weeks until i just gave up and went elsewhere for financial advice

Service quality is mixed - Cathy and Carm at the front desk are wonderful, but business services leaves a lot to be desired. My experience with them was a constant stream of over promising and under delivering. We unfortunately had to move our business elsewhere.

One of the absolute worse financial institutions in Ontario, that Im aware of (and I have many). My father taught me not to keep all your eggs in one basket, that being I utilize many institutions as I can. Complicated? Maybe, anyway my wife and I have our direct deposits from our pensions into MERDIAN. We both have excellent credit scores (over 800) and applied for a simple unsecured line of credit for $5000.00. We were denied? Needless to say, we dont need Merdian Credit Union, and will be closing our accounts there. The tellers out front are very accessible, friendly, competent and obliging to their clients. Too bad the executives are too conservative (there is such a thing of reformation of a human being). Moral of review-Be perfect in your financial life.
