Terrible customer service. Im holding 3bushes from the garden centre in my hands and limping because I can barely walk. I ask the gentleman where to pay and does he offer to take my handful and take me or offer to get me a cart NO. He just says you can go inside or to the end where the white tent is. I finally get to the end and ask the cashier if I can leave these here while I get a cart. Does she offer. Again NO. What has happened to customer service. When I get good customer service I am sure to note it and thank them for it. While I was complaining in line so was everyone else. So I wasnt the only one. I think this store needs to do some work with their employees.

I am done with this grocery store. It's gotten to the point where I might as well throw money in the garbage by purchasing anything here! Twice I've bought ground beef (NO sale stickers off) and literally brought it home to cook that same day and it's stinks so thoroughly I've had to throw them out. Their produce is another thing, raspberries at 4$ a small pack and I open it up and it's mold all in the middle, lettuce that's garbage within a day or 2, a box of peaches at 9$ in peach season and again garbage they were mushy and somehow dry. But this had to be the last straw, I bought 2 packs of pork chops and a pack of small side ribs friday sept 9. I noticed a rancid smell coming from my fridge so I cleaned it out and never thought it was coming from the meat as I just bought them (NO sale stickers off) and the dates still said they were good until the 14th and 15th of September. So I pulled them out to cook Sunday the 11th and as soon as I did the smell coming from them was absolutely disgusting! So once again I had to throw food out since I no longer had the receipt and even walking back to the grocery store with that foul meat would have been horrible! Since I bought them Friday they must have already been bad because within a day my fridge stunk! There was no in-between issue with the meats storage either since my fridge is still new and has never had any issues with other items, I had a drive home so it was only in the car for 3mins since I live really close so it wouldn't have been an issue with that either. It sucks cause the staff are great and it's so close to home but I cannot afford to be throwing food/money out! Dates in the pictures show the expiry, today is only the 13th and this happened days earlier! In person they had a greenish tinge.

Tacky...doesn't price match a store on their dwindling "approved" list of competitors because they sell the item flat rate...Freshco is seriously in the dumps these last few years. Ever since the owner changed, it's been steadily downhill. Wasted 30 mins shopping in there and arrived to a closed Food Basics to get the item they refused to price match....great job guys!!!! A+ I'm done with this store...this is one of a multitude of issues experienced here.

The prices at freshco are amazing and the stock is always full and has a huge selection of products . The ASTRO yogurt which is the best I think has so many different kinds that are available at freshco. The store is clean and easy to find what your looking for . The store also has an incredible selection of delicious nuts and seeds for a fantastic price and a huge amount!! The vegetables are always fresh and again a massive selection to boot! The fruit is very good as well as the selection of dairy products such as cream milk cheeses and plant based options as I am a vegetarian. There is a huge parking lot at this location as well. All in all I've decided that this is my main grocery store as it has everything I need at the lowest prices and in these times with the price of food it's the best bet!
