Im not too sure if this is a true medical facility but most cannabis doctors are, and they dont discriminate against patients. I have my MMPR card from a major cannabis clinic in Toronto and my husband is looking to get his as well for chronic pain and arthritis. But because he has a criminal record with charges within the past DECADE he wont be seen by the doctor. I dont understand how someones past actions can impact the level of medical care they receive. My husband refuses opioid pain killers that doctors try to prescribe to him, that should say enough about his stance on drug abuse (which Im guessing is why the doctor discriminates). There are lots of amazing places (like Apollo Research) that dont discriminate against patients and those who do not refuse medical care. Id be wary about this place and use it as a last resort. Also kind of sucks because it will force people to lie after they know the doctor can refuse care at any moment.
